A dent in a side panel disappears behind the cabinet wall once the fridge is in place. A scratch in the middle of the door you see every day. So each appliance states where the damage sits, with photos of that unit. The conditions: Box damaged only, Lightly damaged and Visibly damaged.
Start with capacity: how many litres of fridge and freezer space you need, and whether the appliance fits. Then look at no frost, which saves you defrosting. The energy label determines the consumption of an appliance that runs day and night for years. For comparison, the new models are in the fridges category.
With built-in models the sides and often the front disappear behind your kitchen, so cosmetic damage barely counts there. A freestanding appliance is on show: check where the scratch sits. An American-style fridge needs width and a clear route in. Measure the recess before you order.

That is right. Of almost every model there is exactly one in the graded range, because each appliance has its own damage and its own photos. Once it is sold, it does not come back. If you hesitate over a fridge that fits, you are often too late.
Only if it is a built-in model, and those are listed separately. Check the niche dimensions in the specifications and measure your kitchen. Putting a freestanding fridge in a closed niche goes wrong on ventilation, even if it fits on paper.
