Here you will find six fixed combinations of a Heinner washing machine and a Heinner heat pump dryer. In every set the drying capacity is the same as the wash capacity, so whatever you wash in one cycle, you dry in one cycle. All the washing machines spin at 1400 rpm, which means the laundry goes into the dryer fairly dry already. Together the sets cost between 849 and 999 euros.

All about buying a washing machine and dryer as a set

There is nothing wrong with choosing your washing machine and dryer separately, but you then run the risk that they do not work well together: a dryer that is too small for a full wash load, for example. In the six sets above the drying capacity matches the wash capacity, so that piece of selection work is already done. Below you can read what else matters in a set like this: capacity, drying technology, the space in your home and what the set discount means in practice.

Matching the dryer capacity to your washing machine

In every set the washing machine and the dryer have the same capacity in kilos: 8 with 8, 9 with 9 and 10 with 10. A kilo simply counts a little differently in a dryer. Wet laundry has to tumble freely in the drum, otherwise the warm air does not reach every item. For the same number of kilos a dryer therefore has a roomier drum than a washing machine; that is already accounted for in the capacity printed on the appliance. If you choose a dryer with fewer kilos than your washing machine, you have to dry every full wash load in two goes. With matching capacities one wash load goes into the dryer in one go. For one or two people 8 kg is usually enough; a family has more room to spare with 9 or 10 kg.

Why you will only find heat pump dryers here

Every dryer in these sets is a heat pump dryer. It works with a closed air circuit: the warm air is cooled to draw the moisture out, then reheated and reused. An older condenser dryer blows that heat away each time and has to heat up again and again, which uses more electricity. Because a heat pump dryer dries at a lower temperature, it is also gentler on your clothes. The trade-off is that a drying cycle takes a little longer. Exactly how much a dryer uses differs per model: the dryers in these sets carry energy label C or D. The precise label is on each product page.

Side by side or stacked: what it means for your set-up

Both appliances in a set are freestanding, so the normal arrangement is side by side. Measure that space before you order: two appliances next to each other need roughly twice the width of a washing machine, plus a little slack for hoses, plugs and doors that have to open. Think about the room to stand in front of them too, because you take the laundry out of one and put it straight into the other. As for whether the dryer can sit on top of the washing machine: for these models we cannot say. No stacking kit is included with the set, and we do not know whether stacking is permitted for this combination. So work on the basis of side by side, and get in touch with us if you want to stack them.

What the set discount means in practice

The discount is tied to the combination, not to a separate set product. Put the washing machine and the dryer from the same set in your basket together and 29 to 54 euros is taken off automatically, depending on which set you choose. How do I get the set discount?

Put the washing machine and the dryer from the same set in your basket. The discount is applied there automatically: 29 to 54 euros, depending on the set. You will see the amount in the summary before you pay, and there is nothing to tick or apply for. Take one of the two appliances back out of your basket and the discount is removed by itself.

Do I need to enter a discount code?

No, there is no code. The discount is set up as an automatic promotion and appears as soon as both appliances from the same set are in your basket. If you come across a field for a discount code at checkout, leave it empty. If you do not see the discount, check that you really picked the two appliances from the same set and not two separate models.

Can I also buy the appliances separately?

Yes. There is no separate set product: you always buy the two individual appliances, each with its own product page, price and energy label. If you only want the washing machine or only the dryer, that is perfectly possible. You simply miss the set benefit, because the discount only applies when both appliances are in one order together. If you buy the dryer later on, you pay the normal price.

Do the washing machine and the dryer need the same number of kilos?

In these six sets they do: 8 with 8, 9 with 9 and 10 with 10 kilos. A full wash load then goes into the dryer in one go. Do bear in mind that a dryer needs more drum space per kilo than a washing machine, because wet laundry has to tumble freely. A dryer with fewer kilos than your washing machine therefore means two drying cycles after a wash more often.

How does delivery of two appliances work?

Delivery and installation are free, even with two appliances: you pay nothing extra for the second one. We deliver by appointment, so you hear in advance when we are coming.

Will the dryer fit on top of the washing machine?

For these models we do not know, so do not assume that stacking is possible. No stacking kit is included with the set either, and without a kit a dryer does not belong on top of a washing machine in any case.
