What does this mean?
What does each condition mean?
Every outlet appliance is given a condition based on what you can see on the outside. Technically all conditions are sound: the more visible the damage, the lower the price.
Box damaged only
There is nothing to see on the appliance itself: only the box picked up a dent or a tear. The appliance has had little or no use and looks new.
Lightly damaged
One or two small scratches or dents, usually on a side or on the door. The photos of this unit show you where they are.
Visibly damaged
Several scratches or a dent you notice straight away. Technically there is nothing wrong; you can simply see that something happened to it.

Pros and cons of this appliance
- Electric ignition. Lights with one turn, no matches needed.
- With a wok burner. Enough power to get a wok properly hot.
- 4 cooking zones. That is how many pans fit at once.
- 4 gas burners. That is how many pans fit at once.
Compared with the built-in gas hobs in our own range.
Product description
59 cm built-in gas hob with four burners and a wok burner, from the outlet. Only the box is damaged; the hob itself is unused.
When fitted, the hob sits flush with the edge of the worktop. All that remains visible are the cast-iron grates and the knobs — and these were protected inside the inner packaging, which has remained intact.
The four burners, including the high-power wok burner, are new and have never been used. When buying white goods with damaged packaging, in the case of a built-in appliance, you’re effectively paying for cardboard that you would have thrown away yourself. One year of warranty.
