What does this mean?
What does each condition mean?
Every outlet appliance is given a condition based on what you can see on the outside. Technically all conditions are sound: the more visible the damage, the lower the price.
Box damaged only
There is nothing to see on the appliance itself: only the box picked up a dent or a tear. The appliance has had little or no use and looks new.
Lightly damaged
One or two small scratches or dents, usually on a side or on the door. The photos of this unit show you where they are.
Visibly damaged
Several scratches or a dent you notice straight away. Technically there is nothing wrong; you can simply see that something happened to it.

Product description
60 cm stainless steel cooker hood with energy rating A+++, from the outlet. The packaging has been damaged, but the appliance is unused.
An A+++ rating is no small matter for a cooker hood. A cooker hood runs every time you cook a hot meal, often for half an hour or longer, and the difference between the most energy-efficient and the least energy-efficient classes adds up significantly over a few years. That saving lies in the motor unit and the lighting — precisely the parts that a damaged box does nothing to affect.
What you’re paying for here is the price of an appliance that can no longer be sold as new; what you’re getting is the same extractor hood with the same energy rating. One year of warranty. This model is dispatched as a parcel.
