What does this mean?
What does each condition mean?
Every outlet appliance is given a condition based on what you can see on the outside. Technically all conditions are sound: the more visible the damage, the lower the price.
Box damaged only
There is nothing to see on the appliance itself: only the box picked up a dent or a tear. The appliance has had little or no use and looks new.
Lightly damaged
One or two small scratches or dents, usually on a side or on the door. The photos of this unit show you where they are.
Visibly damaged
Several scratches or a dent you notice straight away. Technically there is nothing wrong; you can simply see that something happened to it.

Pros and cons of this appliance
- Lower noise level than most. 65 dB, in the lowest quarter of our cooker hoods.
- Powerful extraction. 624 cubic metres an hour on the highest setting, in the most powerful quarter of our cooker hoods.
- Turbo setting. All the power at once when something catches.
- Higher consumption than the median of its type. 57 kWh a year against 47 kWh for the median model among our cooker hoods. That is roughly €4 a year more in electricity.
Compared with the cooker hoods in our own range. Electricity costs calculated at €0.35 per kWh.
Product description
90 cm stainless steel wall-mounted cooker hood with black glass, from the outlet. There is one scratch on the housing.
A wall-mounted cooker hood is installed at eye level or higher, with the hood against the wall. The scratch is on the metal body and not on the glass front or the touch panel — precisely the two surfaces you look at and touch every day.
The 190W motor and touch controls work just like on a new unit. This is a white good with minor damage: a single scratch on an appliance that is otherwise unused. One year of warranty.
