What does the small print say?
Covered by the warranty or not?
Transparent: this is covered by our 5 year warranty, and this is not.
Covered by the warranty
Manufacturing faults, defects under normal domestic use, premature failure of parts, electrical faults.
Not under warranty
Damage you caused yourself (drops, knocks, water), wear of filters and seals, misuse, commercial use and unreported transport damage. On an outlet appliance the cosmetic flaw you were given the discount for is also excluded; it is described on the product page and shown in the photos. The way an outlet appliance works is covered by the full one-year Pro Witgoed warranty.

What do I need to make a warranty claim?
Your order number and a clear description of the fault (preferably with a photo or video). That lets us get to work straight away.
How does an exchange work?
If a warranty claim is accepted, we swap your appliance straight away for a new one. Our delivery team takes the faulty appliance away and delivers the new one at the same time.
Does the warranty also apply to an outlet appliance?
Yes. Every outlet appliance comes with one year of Pro Witgoed warranty on how it works. Every appliance is tested by an expert before it ships.
What falls outside it is the cosmetic flaw you were given the discount for: the scratch, the dent or the damaged box described on the product page and shown in the photos. We do not sell second-hand or refurbished appliances.
What happens after those 5 years?
After that our standard warranty expires. If something breaks down, do feel free to get in touch. We are always happy to think along with you, but we can no longer offer a warranty after that period.
Is my warranty transferable if I sell the appliance on?
No, the 5 year warranty is personal and applies to the original buyer who bought through our online shop.
Do I need an extra warranty certificate?
No. Your order confirmation and invoice serve as proof. So keep them safe.
