What does this mean?
What does each condition mean?
Every outlet appliance is given a condition based on what you can see on the outside. Technically all conditions are sound: the more visible the damage, the lower the price.
Box damaged only
There is nothing to see on the appliance itself: only the box picked up a dent or a tear. The appliance has had little or no use and looks new.
Lightly damaged
One or two small scratches or dents, usually on a side or on the door. The photos of this unit show you where they are.
Visibly damaged
Several scratches or a dent you notice straight away. Technically there is nothing wrong; you can simply see that something happened to it.

Product description
This 260-litre fridge-freezer is from our outlet: a new appliance, never used, but with paint damage on the door and the side. This is purely cosmetic — the fridge, freezer and water dispenser are all in perfect working order.
Paint damage almost always occurs during transport or storage. It’s on the outside and won’t spread: what you see in the photos is what you’ll get. If the appliance is placed with its side against a kitchen cupboard, the damage won’t be visible at all.
You’ll still get ‘one year of warranty’, free delivery and installation, and we’ll take your old appliance away. Anyone buying white goods with minor damage pays less for exactly the same cooling capacity.
