What does this mean?
What does each condition mean?
Every outlet appliance is given a condition based on what you can see on the outside. Technically all conditions are sound: the more visible the damage, the lower the price.
Box damaged only
There is nothing to see on the appliance itself: only the box picked up a dent or a tear. The appliance has had little or no use and looks new.
Lightly damaged
One or two small scratches or dents, usually on a side or on the door. The photos of this unit show you where they are.
Visibly damaged
Several scratches or a dent you notice straight away. Technically there is nothing wrong; you can simply see that something happened to it.

Product description
Black 260-litre fridge-freezer with water dispenser, from the outlet. There are some light scratches on the top.
The top of a fridge is a part you hardly ever see yourself. With a standard height of around 1.85 metres, virtually nobody looks down at it, and if the appliance is positioned under a wall unit or next to a tall cupboard, that surface is completely out of sight.
That’s why this appliance is classified as ‘A’: as good as new, with damage that you won’t notice in everyday use. One year of warranty, free delivery and installation, old appliance collected.
