What does each condition mean?
Every outlet appliance is given a condition based on what you can see on the outside. Technically all conditions are sound: the more visible the damage, the lower the price.
Box damaged only
There is nothing to see on the appliance itself: only the box picked up a dent or a tear. The appliance has had little or no use and looks new.
Lightly damaged

A chest freezer has a lid that you open from the top, and that is the only part you can see. The dent is there, and to be honest, that’s the worst possible spot on this model. On the other hand, the protective film is still covering it: the paintwork underneath is undamaged and the appliance has never been used.
This freezer is classified as visibly damaged and priced accordingly. For a garage, utility room or holiday home, this is a minor issue you can easily overlook — a white good with a dent in the place where it matters least. One year of warranty, free delivery.
