Product description
The Heinner HHPD-V8T1CHSA++ is an 8 kg heat pump tumble dryer. A heat pump dries your laundry using air that is continuously reheated, at a lower temperature than a condenser tumble dryer. This is gentler on your laundry and uses less electricity: in the Eco programme with a full drum, this tumble dryer consumes 1.44 kWh per drying cycle.
15 programmes and a moisture sensor
You can choose from 15 programmes, including cotton, delicates, shirts in 20 minutes, baby clothes and a 34-minute quick programme. A moisture sensor measures how dry the laundry is and stops the programme at the right time. With the dryness level selection, you can decide for yourself whether the laundry comes out of the drum cupboard-dry or ready for ironing. The anti-crease phase keeps the drum moving occasionally after the cycle has finished, so your laundry creases less if you don’t take it out of the dryer straight away.
Ease of everyday use
The display shows the programme and the remaining time. The delayed start function allows you to set the dryer to start later, for example if you’re not at home. The child lock prevents little hands from changing a programme. An indicator light shows when the lint filter needs cleaning and when the water tank is full. If the dryer is positioned near a drain, you can drain the condensation water directly using the supplied hose.
Dimensions and installation
The tumble dryer is 59.6 cm wide, 56.3 cm deep and 84.5 cm high, and weighs 43 kg. The transparent door opens to the right and cannot be reversed; the loading opening is 37 cm. The tumble dryer requires a standard mains socket (230 V) and comes with a 1.5 m power lead.
Energy and noise
On the EU energy label, this tumble dryer has energy class E (on a scale of A to G), condensation efficiency class C (82 per cent) and noise class B (64 dB). A full load on the Eco programme takes 3 hours and 51 minutes, whilst a half load takes 2 hours and 12 minutes. It is rated Class A on the label for repairability.
Who is it for?
An 8 kg tumble dryer is suitable for a family of three to five people and for use with an 8 kg washing machine. If you have a 9 kg washing machine or frequently dry bed linen, take a look at the 9 kg tumble dryers.

Frequently asked questions
Does the HHPD-V8T1CHSA++ require a drain?
No. The condensation water collects in a reservoir which you empty after drying. If the tumble dryer is positioned near a drain, you can also drain the water directly using the hose supplied.
How much electricity does this tumble dryer use?
In the Eco programme with a full 8 kg drum, it uses 1.44 kWh per drying cycle. This is stated on the EU energy label, where the dryer is rated as energy class E.
Can the door open on the other side?
No, the door opens to the right and cannot be reversed. Bear this in mind if the tumble dryer is to be placed next to a wall or cupboard.
How often should I clean the filter?
Empty the lint filter after every drying cycle; the dryer will indicate when the filter is full via a light. Rinse the fine filter under the tap from time to time and let it dry thoroughly before putting it back in place.
