What does this mean?
What does each condition mean?
Every outlet appliance is given a condition based on what you can see on the outside. Technically all conditions are sound: the more visible the damage, the lower the price.
Box damaged only
There is nothing to see on the appliance itself: only the box picked up a dent or a tear. The appliance has had little or no use and looks new.
Lightly damaged
One or two small scratches or dents, usually on a side or on the door. The photos of this unit show you where they are.
Visibly damaged
Several scratches or a dent you notice straight away. Technically there is nothing wrong; you can simply see that something happened to it.

The same appliance as new, with our full service and guarantee. Only cheaper because of a cosmetic blemish or because it is a return.
Pros and cons of this appliance
- Lower noise level on its lowest setting. 57 dB, in the lowest quarter of our cooker hoods at their lowest setting.
- Dishwasher-safe filters. Cleaning without the scrubbing.
- 3 speed settings. From the lowest setting to full power over the pan.
- Higher consumption than the median of its type. 78 kWh a year against 47 kWh for the median model among our cooker hoods. That is roughly €11 a year more in electricity.
Compared with the cooker hoods in our own range. Electricity costs calculated at €0.35 per kWh.
Product description
90 cm stainless steel telescopic cooker hood, from the outlet. The appliance is new and unused; the packaging was damaged in transit.
A telescopic extractor hood is concealed within the cupboard above and only extends when you pull it out. When retracted, all you see is a narrow stainless steel strip. This is precisely why packaging damage is completely irrelevant for this type of appliance: the majority of the unit is never visible anyway.
Please note: for outlet appliances, the warranty period is ‘one year of warranty’, not the five years applicable to a new appliance. Otherwise, you’ll receive the same appliance, with mechanical controls and energy class C — a white goods item with transport damage where the appliance itself is undamaged.
